After months of organising, the day that everyone at Pathway Healthcare has been waiting for has almost arrived. Tomorrow will be our first Spring Ball. We can’t wait to show our residents and adults with learning disabilities from around the East Grinstead area a great night.
The event will be a chance for our residents and staff – as well as guests from outside the Pathway group – to glam-up and do a red carpet walk. There’ll also be an awards presentation for residents and members of staff and the chance for industry professionals to learn more about our new service, Magellan House, which will be opening soon in East Grinstead.
We got in touch with the local council and invited the Town Mayor of East Grinstead to the event, who we’re delighted accepted our invitation and will be presenting the awards segment of the evening and rounding it off with a speech. He’ll also be bringing the Mayoress – and our residents are very excited about meeting the both of them.
Our final preparations will take place tomorrow on the 18th; we’ll be unravelling the red carpet, setting up the DJ and inflating the balloons, among other vital last minute preparations.
Luckily we’ve had the support of a great venue in East Grinstead. The Yoghurt Rooms have been instrumental in helping us to get this event up and running, and it’s an unbeatable venue set in 300 races of rolling country side, providing the ideal environment to hold a Spring Ball.
We’re all very much looking forward to the evening and can’t wait to celebrate the success of our service! Stay tuned for updates on how the evening went.
