The Chalet, Dorking

The Chalet is a fully refurbished and modernised home with 4 en-suite bedrooms, shared facilities, communal areas and private garden.  It is situated in the heart of Dorking within a few minutes walking distance of shops and amenities.

Offering an alternative housing option to residential care,  The Chalet supports young adults with a primary Learning Disability diagnosis, who are no longer able to stay in a family setting but are independent enough to manage their own tenancy with a high degree of support and input from our own care teams and external professionals.  Whilst we encourage individuals to partake in activities and interact with other tenants many will require assistance with personal care, daily activities and managing behaviours.

Our Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) team work alongside managers and care staff from the assessment stage onwards to make sure that appropriate plans and outcomes are agreed. PBS input is included within all our high level support packages.
