On Thursday 26th January between 9am and 5pm we’ll be opening up our newest service, Magellan House, to the local community for the first time.

It’ll represent an opportunity for the people of East Grinstead and the surrounding areas to get a feel for our service and how we work as a provider. There will be open interviews for potential new recruits as well as an opportunity for people to make referrals and explore the facilities.

The home’s manager, Hayley Wilkins, commented: “come on down whether you’re from the local community with an interest in working with us or if you know somebody who might benefit from a caring and supportive service like ours.

“Tour our beautiful new care home and meet our friendly team.”

Getting to know the community that we’re in and becoming a contributing part are integral to how we operate here at Pathway Healthcare. Last year’s Spring Ball at the Yoghurt Rooms was the beginning of what will be a long and lasting relationship with the area and we couldn’t have been happier with the reception we received.

Just like Pathway Healthcare’s other two services in West Sussex, Magellan House will offer a high standard of professional care for adults with learning disabilities in a supported living environment, loads of daily activities and trips away as well as opportunities for our service users to work and learn in the local community and surrounding areas.

Magellan House will formally open in early February.

The new service will open as the third installment from Pathway Healthcare in the West Sussex area, with Cabot House and Bainbridge Court already operating as reputable services.
